Join us for a presentation on Social Engineering Pentesting and Training. Michael Villarreal will present the case for this kind of testing and training and tools and platforms for automating the process. 

Abstract

 Social Engineering is a major vector for cyberattacks and companies are only as strong as their weakest link, often an employee who clicks on an email link or attachment. Combating this threat can be messy and expensive and finding effective ways to test and train your employees without breaking the bank or morale is challenging. 

Speaker's Biography.

Michael Villarreal will present the case for this kind of testing and training and tools and platforms for automating the process. He is the former President of the (ISC)² Alamo Chapter, a member of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), and a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). Michael is currently Vice President with UNISEC and has over 30 years of IT and security experience. He started his career as a U.S. Air Force computer programmer.
