The (ISC)² Alamo Chapter was created to provide peer networking for ISC2 credentialed professionals as well as non-credentialed professionals and to promote professional development opportunities for members and other information security specialists within the local communities to advance the field of information security.
In November 2011 ISC2 granted a chapter charter petition for a chapter in Texas. After much work on May 14, 2012 ISC2 approved the official charter for the Baltimore Chapter (Chapter #28).
