The (ISC)² Alamo Chapter was created to provide peer networking for (ISC)² credentialed professionals as well as non-credentialed professionals and to promote professional development opportunities for members and other information security specialists within the local communities to advance the field of information security.
In November 2011 (ISC)² granted a chapter charter petition for a chapter in Texas. After much work on May 14, 2012 (ISC)2 approved the official charter for the Baltimore Chapter (Chapter #28).
